Our historic log cabins have long been a place of connection, comfort, and timeless charm. In 2025, each guest cabin underwent a careful renovation—personally designed by the ranch owners to preserve the spirit of the original structures while introducing elevated touches for today’s traveler.

The updates include beautifully redesigned bathrooms and kitchenettes, featuring heated floors, hand-selected Waterworks fixtures, and cozy touches like Taylor Linens bedding. Every detail—from the thoughtfully chosen furnishings to the curated artwork—honors Lost Creek Ranch’s storied past while offering the perfect blend of rustic character and modern comfort.

These aren’t just renovations; they’re a window into the heritage of the American West, reimagined for the present day. At the end of a long day on the range, your cabin will be a warm, welcoming retreat—just as it should be.

 

Living Room Cabins

The living room cabin layouts are a family friendly accommodation offering a cozy space to reconnect and relax. Our living room cabins accommodate most families and offer two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a living room with kitchenette and fireplace.

With two independent sides to each duplex, you can choose to book the cabin as a two-bedroom called a Full Duplex or a one-bedroom unit called a Half Duplex.

  • Gratuity – The staff at Lost Creek Ranch are committed to making sure your vacation exceeds your expectations. All staff members (except for Management) participate in a tip-sharing pool. Customary gratuity typically ranges between 15- 25% and is not included in the rates above but is suggested in recognition of exceptional service.
Additional Travel & Vehicle Considerations: 

We offer complimentary guest shuttles to and from Jackson Hole Airport (JAC) on arrival and departure day.

  • Sundays (arrival) – shuttles run from 12pm – 9pm. Please note, our check-in is 2pm and only a dinner service is provided that day. In route to the ranch, our drivers are happy to assist with a pit-stop to Dornan’s market & wine shop.
  • Saturday (departure) – shuttles run from 5am – 11am.
  • Our ranch shuttles are grey Mercedes Sprinter vans marked with the LCR brand and a driver will be waiting outside with signage. 
  • Guests receive email outreach confirming flight times and numbers 1 week prior to the trip. Our friendly Concierge team is available throughout the travel day to assist with any changes that may arise.  

Driving to the ranch? We have parking near each guest cabin. Look for the Lost Creek Ranch sign off the highway and across from the Snake River Overlook. The ranch road is a 2.5-mile-long gravel road, please drive slowly and you’ll soon see the overhead entrance and horse barn. Follow the signage to the office and our team will assist you with check-in and direct you to parking near your cabin.

Gauging your transportation needs:

If you and your family would like to drive, dine, or sightsee offsite, we encourage you to rent a car. Our permits to operate in the National Park do not allow guided tours in Yellowstone or Whitewater rafting and these are the most popular activities that guests incorporate in their weekly agenda. If you would like to do either of these activities, we recommend a car rental and scheduling the activities mid-week (Tue, Wed or Thur).   Alternatively, you could book a guided tour.

LCR provides transportation to all the included guest activities on each weekly agenda such as the twice daily Snake River float trips, fishing trips, the Jackson Hole rodeo on Wednesday nights and day trips to town or Jenny Lake (weather dependent).

Deposit Policy

50% deposit is due at booking. We request initial deposits be made via credit card or ACH. All bookings are completed by phone or email. 

 

Checkout Process

Final payment with remaining balance and any incidentals, may be made by cash, personal check, traveler’s check, Visa, or MasterCard.

 

Cancellation Policy

We understand that cancellations arise and will do our best to rebook the cabin with enough notice. If the cabin is unable to be rebooked, guests will forfeit the 50 percent non-refundable deposit unless we are able to refill the entire space.

We do not provide travelers insurance.

Travel Agents:

We offer a 10% commission on new client bookings, provided the agent or planner is involved from inquiry through confirmation. Due to high demand during our Peak Season, we are unable to accommodate Travel Agent commissions for reservations between 6/21 and 8/15.

Additional Details:

  • Commission applies only to lodging (excluding meals, taxes, incidentals)
  • Commissions are paid post-departure.
  • Agents must provide a valid IATA number and be the first point of contact.
  • Commissions are not paid on canceled bookings.

  • We offer a 15% returning guest discount if you have travelled to Lost Creek Ranch in the past 3 seasons (since 2023).
  • We offer a 10% commission on new client bookings, provided the agent or planner is involved from inquiry through confirmation. Due to high demand during our Peak Season, we are unable to accommodate Travel Agent commissions for reservations between 6/21 and 8/15.   • We offer three types of cabins - King Half-Duplex for 2 people, Queen/Twin Half-Duplex for 2-3 people, Living Room Cabin for 4-7 people. Please see the Accommodations page for cabin layout and more details.
  • We are an all-inclusive, 6 night property. Guests arrive Sunday with a check-in of 2pm and depart the ranch Saturday by 11am.
